UNDERGROUND RAILROAD TOUR AUGUST 3RD TO 6TH, 2012

Sandwich First Baptist Church is a small, brick church that was built by Underground Railroad refugees in 1851. Members built the church, using bricks made by hand from mud found in the Detroit River. The church was listed as a National Historic Site in 1999.
